Lauren

Lauren began practicing yoga in 2003 as a way to increase flexibility, but it quickly became apparent there was much more to be found. After years of trying many different styles in several studios, she found her deepest connection with a sound-vibration based power practice. This approach connected her to the amazing gift of meditation through asana, which led her to explore other meditation forms & various workshops.

After having two children, as a working mom, the importance of her yoga practice became paramount in helping create harmony in daily life. Through teacher training at the Dallas Yoga Center, Lauren discovered new ways to connect with sound meditation and restorative yoga, which once again shifted her entire perspective and practice. A profound interest in holistic wellness has led her to study Ayurveda, pranayama, aromatherapy & more. Lauren's goal as a teacher is to compassionately guide others to find more balance and peace through yoga and meditation. She hopes everyone can experience deep connection to oneself and pure bliss through any style of practice, yin to yang, and take what they learn with them off the mats.

    Our Women’s Moon Gathering invites women to take time out for sacred reflection and meditation on the divine feminine, on the light that the moon sheds on our inner knowing, and on our connection with each other and all of life.
     
    With retrograde and eclipse season in full swing, we are in a perfect space for deep internal reflection. Join Lauren for an afternoon of guided imagery meditation and an opportunity to release through a water ceremony. Water ceremonies are a beautiful way of honoring and celebrating the nourishing and healing it provides for ourselves and the earth.

  • Vinyasa Mixed Levels
  • Experience a dynamic flow of yoga postures in which movement is sequenced with the breath. This practice moves at a more moderate pace to build heat, endurance, flexibility, strength and concentration. Sequencing is often built around sun salutations.  All levels welcome.

  • Sound Healing Meditation
  • Experience the healing power of sound through chanting, toning, mantra, with singing bowls or harmonium. Connect the breath & sound to create a deeply relaxed meditative state. Discussion of principles included. All levels.

  • Vision Board Workshop
  • $25 by August 17th / $35 After

    Renew your intentions for 2018! Get connected, get grounded and get ready!

    Turn the lens of your intention towards yourself in an afternoon of creative imagining. Take the time to give yourself the gift of reimagining and refining your vision of yourself, your life and your dreams.

    This workshop will begin with a guided meditation to clear your mind and prepare a clean foundation for creation.

    Then we will get those goals put into a tangible language, and create a lovely physical representation to take home. This vision board will remind us daily what we are working towards throughout the year.
