Daniel Sunshine

Daniel Sunshine has been practicing mindfulness and meditation for over two decades. He practices mindfulness to reduce stress and live a life in alignment with his heart.
Daniel is trained in Zen, Shambhala and Vipassana meditation. He founded and is a coach for LILOHA coaching…guidance for life (LI), love (LO), and happiness (HA). LILOHA Coaching integrates a unique blend of eastern and western modalities to bring deep healing and transformation to individuals, couples and groups so they can live a happy and fulfilling life. Daniel is also a certified master SoulCPR guide, energy & chakra healer and has an MBA from the George Washington University.

David Sunshine

David began his journey into yoga in 1993. David started studying under one of Dallas' finest certified Iyengar instructors, Fred Dowd. He has now taught yoga extensively and has visited India numerous times to visit sacred sites, to study meditation under the Dalai Lama, and to study yoga with many contemporary luminaries including B.K.S Iyengar and T.K.V. Desikachar. He continues to explore the path and deepen his practice primarily by studying under senior teacher Ramanand Patel.  David's  teachings of yoga blend the wisdom of Yoga, Eastern philosophy, meditation, somatic movement techniques and the principles of Ayurveda to assist students in their physical, emotional, and spiritual growth.


As owner of the Dallas Yoga Center since 1998, David has helped to establish DYC as a strong institution infused with an open-hearted vitality which plays a leading role in the Dallas yoga community. His focus is in creating a safe space where people can come to enjoy the depth of the ancient teachings.

DYC invites you to the Mindfulness Certification Training (MCT) - FREE Info session to learn about our upcoming program.

Dallas Yoga Center has trained thousands of people in science-based and experiential mindfulness practices. Through its Mindfulness Certification Training (MCT), DYC brings together the best local instructors and national luminaries in the field to create an in-depth, interactive and comprehensive program. DYC’s evidence-based mindfulness expert trainer, Kay Colbert, LCSW, will lead the training. Nationally renowned contributors include Dr. Christopher Willard, author and Harvard lecturer on mindfulness and psychotherapy, who will teach the psychology of mindfulness, and Meena Srinivasan, international thought leader and author of ‘Teach, Breathe, Learn’, who will train on mindful teaching methodologies.

40 CEs are available for Psychologists, LCSWs, and LPCs at an additional price.

This event will take place at the Dallas Yoga Center located at 4525 Lemmon Avenue, 3rd Floor, Dallas, Texas, 75219. DYC is in the 3 story office building directly across Lemmon from the Highland Park Whole Foods, next to Craddock Park.
